LPC Supervision

Tara Cavanaugh is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor.  Tara offers supervision to newly licensed clinicians (LPC-Associates) looking to broaden their clinical knowledge.  

Selecting your LPC Supervisor is one of the most important steps in your career.  As a new clinician, you may feel nervous and hesitant in getting started. You may even experience imposter-syndrome as you work to build your confidence in your ability to treat clients.  Supervision can help you work through your apprehension and professional challenges as you begin to work with clients. You will be encouraged as well as challenged to try new interventions and techniques, expand your knowledge, and grow your therapeutic and professional skills.
